Valves play an important role in cutting off and regulating the medium in the pipeline. The sealing pair of the globe valve is composed of the sealing surfaces of the valve disc and the valve seat. The valve stem drives the valve disc to move vertically along the center line of the valve seat. The opening and closing height of the globe valve is relatively small, making it easy to adjust the flow rate. The valve is easy to manufacture and maintain, and has a wide pressure range of application.
Compared with another commonly used type of shut-off valve in industrial production - gate valve, the globe valve is structurally simpler, easier to manufacture and maintain. The sealing surface of the globe valve is less susceptible to wear and scratches. There is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve seat during the opening and closing process, therefore the wear and scratches on the sealing surface are smaller, which improves the service life of the sealing pair. The travel of the valve disc in the fully open and fully closed process of the globe valve manufacturer is small, and its height is relatively smaller than that of the gate valve.
Stainless steel globe valve
Stainless steel globe valves have a wide range of applicable pressure and temperature, but they are generally used in medium and small-sized pipelines. Compared with gate valves, the structure of globe valves is simpler, and manufacturing and maintenance are more convenient. The sealing surface is less susceptible to wear and scratches, has good sealing performance, a long service life, a small valve disc travel during opening and closing, a short opening and closing time, and a smaller valve height.
